About

b. 1986, HK.

Originally from the tropical island of Taiwan, my family immigrated to the States when I was 8 years old. We settled in rainy Portland, Oregon, which I have since considered my home. I have worked as a digital, UI and brand designer for over 7 years – helping brands establish themselves in this new digital world we live in. I love everything about working with interactive design–the convergence of art, technology, and user-interactivity has always been extremely fascinating to me and I continuously strive to explore this relationship in my design work.

But my hobbies extends far beyond just design. I'm a fan of pretty much anything nerd-related. Video game has been, and continues to be, my biggest passion in life – I think it brings together art, technology, and immersive story-telling in a beautiful way that is unmatched by any other form of entertainment. Some other things I obsess about: comic books, anime, illustration, collecting an obscene amount of action figures (see photo), writing, doing and teaching Yoga, crafting, exploring the great outdoors, and last but never the least–adventuring with my pooch, Loki. Aside from my personal hobbies, however, I am an avid advocate of immersing and reaching out to your local communities. Dedicating my time volunteering is an important part of who I am and I’m always looking for new ways to help.

Above all else, what I love most is challenging myself in all areas of life. I see each obstacle as a new opportunity for learning and growth. My curiosity is boundless and I will never stop seeking new areas to explore.

Feel free to drop a line if you have any questions, stalk me via my very limited social media profiles, or we can simply just nerd out on why Avatar the Last Airbender is the greatest story ever told.

Cheers!
